Minneapolis Wedding Inspiration | A Soft Focus Feminine Styled Shoot

So excited to be sharing a styled shoot that we worked on over a year ago! This is a project that Anna, of Royal Hart Studio, brought to us as a concept and we jumped on board to help develop the full design. I’m so proud of the final product, and of all the incredible work that our vendor team put into making this moodboard come to life!

Since this shoot was taking place in the early spring, we were so inspired by the light and airy-ness that comes that time of year. But this shoot also took place on one of those classic Minnesota late-season snow storms. So, there is definitely some cool tone magic mixed into these shots! We were super inspired by soft textures, which I think comes off perfectly in this dress that we used from The White Room, designed by The Law. It’s a quilted 3d lace fabric that I honestly couldn’t stop staring at.

We were very careful when picking out the details for this shoot, as we wanted to keep it as clean and crisp as possible while including soft focal points. That’s why we chose the Herringbone Linen from Linen Effects as the backdrop to this tablescape. It’s clean lines with tone on tone graphic are the perfect backdrop to the place settings. Soft pink touches like the vintage goblets from Rudy’s Rentals and the chiffon runner from our own inventory helped pull all the details together, without overpowering from the floral and bride.

When designing the florals for this shoot, I wanted to keep it very soft and feminine. Choosing the soft pink hues for roses and parrot tulips to give some springy fresh texture, I also made sure to keep a clean ivory tone with spray roses and gardenia foliage. The dantiest hint of blue was pulled out with some bleached ruscus, which also helped pull out the blue tone of the grey pillar candles we had scattered throughout the tablescape. The hint of blue miiiiiight just be my favorite detail of this entire shoot.
